Elaine Flowers is a professional writer of mainstream fiction residing in Dallas, Texas. Using her 25 years behind a hydraulic chair as a hairstylist, she has gathered an endless collection of stories about complex women in difficult relationships. Her first stories began in grammar school where instead of doing her schoolwork, she brought to life the characters in her imagination on lined notebook paper.
Elaine’s long-time dream of becoming a published author was realized in 2004 with the release of her debut novel, Black Beauty that was listed on the Dallas Morning News bestseller’s list. She went on to pen two more books and in 2014 she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University and is currently developing a web series as well as a full-length screenplay.
